How often do you get to be part of an adventure?

There is a beautiful little girl named Jiliang waiting in China for her family. She has Tetralogy of Fallot, just like Georgia. Her parents have travel approval (they are supposed to leave around Feb 20th) and all that stands between them and this precious little one is the remaining money for travel and the rest of her adoption expenses.
These soon to be first time parents love the Lord and have stepped out in faith to adopt sweet Jiliang. How cool would it be if we all came around them in prayer and support as they take this final step in the journey. How amazing would it feel to know that you did a little something to bring an orphan home!
The Koeppes are doing two fundraisers. You can directly donate to their adoption through the "chip in!" link on the right side of their blog.  Seriously, every little bit helps. When we adopted Ravenna, we did not have enough to make the final payments and travel and you know what? God used others chipping in $10 here and there (or more) to make the rest. Now it is a beautiful part of her story! Let's be a part of the story God is writing for Jiliang and her family! You just have to go and see Jiliang...she is BEAUTIFUL!!!!!!

Or, they get 20% of all sales in their name at Barefoot books. These are gorgeous multi-cultural books. We have some and I LOVE them, the kids LOVE them and their audio books seriously saved my sanity while we were driving in Mexico. So you can shop at Barefoot Books here, just click on "Koeppe family adoption" at the bottom:

Then, can we go just a step farther? When we adopted Georgia and went through her open heart surgery, people came out of the woodwork to encourage and pray for us. This family is about to walk a similar road. Would you consider walking with them each day by checking their blog, writing a comment (click at the bottom of their post on the comment spot and follow the directions) and commit to pray for them? This is serving them but even more, it is serving the Lord! He is so clear that His heart is for the orphans. How cool to watch, pray and see God's heart for this little girl as she is welcomed into her parent's arms!

I have been following your journey since you were in China (following your other blog of course.) We too took a leap of faith when we adopted our daughter. We hardly had any money saved towards the adoption expenses. But I put all my faith in God that he would provide and he did. We started our second adoption and I have no fears about the money because I know the lord will provide once again, especially for something so amazing as adoption. I also believe in paying if forward, so I will make sure I stop over and contribute to help bring sweet Jiliang home.
Many Blessings,
Deanna

WOW!!! I will talk with my husband about us helping them out!

I will also let my sister know about those books! I know that she is wanting to begin her African collection.

Thanks again for everything. What an encouraging week it has started out to be. Today was the best day I have had in a long time. Thank you for being a willing vessel! What a dear blessing!! :)
