Please pray for our Georgia...

So the post that I wrote below is pretty relevant now. God truly knew that I needed to know that He is in the details and knows and cares about every hair on our heads. I have spent most of the day in doctors offices with Georgia. She has a really rotten respiratory thing going on and is struggling to breathe. The guess is that she has RSV but that culture will come back tomorrow. Her chest xray came back very full of fluid but with no pneumonia masses...so we are at home with a nebulizer (sp?) and watching her closely. I talked with her someone from her Cardiology team a little while ago and they are saying if she gets any worse in any way we need to head to the ER.
All of this brings back so much for me but also for our whole family. Walking the halls of the hospital today to get the chest x-ray was very surreal. Georgia's eyes were huge and she was very still and silent while clinging to my hand...poor baby has been through so much. With her heart condition we are still learning what her thresholds are for health things.
My prayer is that she will wake up from her nap much better than she went down ( really had me considering plopping her back in the car for the hour drive to ER). Will you pray for wisdom for us? Protection for her, both for her health and for her emotions?
Thanks so much! She is waking up so I'd better go!

I am praying for your sweet Georgia right now Shannon. God is with her, and he will bring healing to her body....He has a firm grip on her and he will not let go. (Isaiah 41:10 The Message)

Oh sweet Georgia!
All 3 of our boys (none with heart conditions however) struggled with breathing stuff every winter and it was so scary when they would wake up barking like seals and wheezing in the middle of the night. I cannot remember how many times I sat in the steamy bathroom with them hoping to open up their bronchiols. And I can only imagine your fears and how fresh the hospital memories are for you all. Praying for you all and especially Georgia--that God would lay his healing hand on her and get her stronger and into summer SOON!

Oh Shannon ~ I will absolutely be standing with the others here, lifting Georgia up in prayer.

Continue to trust in Him and I know He will see her through.

Hi Shannon,

I came by to read your MBM post and saw your prayer request. I'm praying now for health and healing for Georgia. I know firsthand how scary respiratory things can be. I'll also pray for you to have peace, wisdom, and strength in caring for her.

Much Love,
Kathie

Praying right now. Praying for complete healing.

For God to bring healing to her heart, to her lungs, to everything she needs to breathe.

Praying for complete peace and comfort for her. And wisdom for you in every single decision.

Praying that you will know if and when to bring her to the doctor, and exactly what to do to help her.

Praying that somehow GOD WILL BE GLORIFIED in this girl's life, in this situation, in the growth of your faith as you trust him with your precious Georgia.

Praying for a complete recovery and perfect health for your little beauty.

So thankful that He loves us like He does.
