Home.
When she first began to speak, Georgia's favorite word was "car" as in standing at the door yelling"Car! Car! Car!" in ever increasing decibels because she wanted to be out exploring the world so much.
Now, every time we get in the car she looks at me with those trusting brown eyes and says, "home?" For a long time I could not figure out why she was saying it. I had just buckled her in, she loved to 'go', why was she asking about home?
As the weeks have gone on I have started to notice her tone, especially when we pull in the driveway...it is as if she is drinking delicious cocoa...smile spread across her face..."Home!"
When we are out and about and she pesters me with "Home? Home? Home?"
I think my little girl's concept of 'Home' is starting to form...
and she wants to make sure that we are going back there.
