Oh my friends...there is glorious light in what has been such a dark, dark tunnel!!!!
We talked to the Cardiologist tonight and what we have been calling
"The Big Scary", otherwise known as sudden death...
IS OFF THE TABLE!!!!

is going to thrive!!!!!
We are not totally out of the woods, something funky is going on and it does point to being something with her heart but it is NOT Ventricular Tachycardia which could cause "The Big Scary"
So, we have more monitoring to do (with the event monitor) and probably a Holter (24 hour) monitor ( a more accurate monitor) coming in the mail soon and some sort of treatment to fix the issue...
we are not totally out of the woods...
but there is light and hope in our world!!!!!!!!!
As icing on the cake,
Doug was able to come home tonight for a few days!
We are celebrating big and praising God
Praising Him because He is the One who walked with us, carried us and counted our tears
as we walked through the darkest 2 weeks of our life.
More to come on our littlest princess but for now...
I'm off to finally get some sleep!

Good news! Shannon, my dad (totally different than Georgia of course), had a heart attack last summer and even afterward still had issues, and he was diagnosed with ventricular tachycardia. He has a pacemaker AND a defibrilator. He is now doing fantastic, back to being the avid outdoorsman that he is, and he is on meds I believe 1 or 2 times a day.
Again, I know not the same thing, but I have just been so amazed at what CAN be done with the heart. You also have the ultimate physician in your corner. I have been praying for you all, and I am so glad to get this answer to prayer. Praise God!!!

It's wonderful news! I am doing the praise dance (from my sofa) right now!! How fantastic that the big scary is off the table....Have a wonderful time with Doug home..We will keep Georgia and your family in our prayers...
Praise God! I have thought about you so much, and yesterday I received a peace that Georgia would be just fine, and you would receive word soon.
