Still Alive and Kickin over Here!

Ok....It has been about a billion years since I have posted. I have tried to get the darned slideshow up a ton of times but am realizing that maybe I am supposed to do it a little differently....so photos with stories coming soon!
Around our house life is hopping and so deeply good. Here's a few tidbits:

* The other day I asked Parker what he did at school. Here is the conversation that followed
Parker  "At recess my friend and I made a secret path to the liquorcabinet!"
Me scrambling to figure out what in the world he is talking about since we don't have a liquor cabinet at all....
  "Buddy, what's a liquor cabinet?"
Parker "Oh Mama, it is a huge castle filled with ice cream!"
Good to know son....good to know.

* Miss Georgia has switched to saying all of her colors in Spanish and telling her friends, "No Mas!" instead of stop.

* Ravenna has lost both front teeth and has discovered a love for reading....which is helped by the motivator of getting to do nailpolish afterwards :)

* We are still chewing on all that God taught us during our time at the orphanage and planning to go back again this summer. We can hardly wait!

Photos soon, I promise!

So funny about the liquor cabinet and I'm jealous of Ravenna reading!! Anna wants to read but has completely lost interest in the lessons probably because we can't get through one without fighting by the end!!!! :)

Can't wait! I'm looking forward to the photos and the stories I 'know' they will tell! I love that you have shared this life-changing journey with all of us ~ and there is nothing that melts my heart more than seeing God at work through your children and the impact this trip had on their young lives! SO precious!! <><

(((hugs)))

I need to find a "liquor cabinet" like the one Parker is talking about! LOL! :)

I think you're going to be "chewing" for awhile. I'll be praying for you as you do. It's been well over a month since I came home from China, and there is still SO much I'm chewing on. The transforming of our hearts sometimes takes awhile. :)

Love you, my sweet friend!
