Finally! I snapped a few shots of our new house...here they are for those who are interested. It is small but filled with love and we feel as rich as kings living here!
I didn't take one of the front of the house yet...
But this is our front yard!
The houses up and down the block are filled with kids the same age as ours and the street usually has friends biking up and down!
The houses up and down the block are filled with kids the same age as ours and the street usually has friends biking up and down!
Here is what you see when yo come in the front door...including goofy faced kids!
to the right is the dining room, it is all open to the kitchen and living room which I love because I can always see what the kids are up to!
Here's the kitchen. We feel really spoiled with granite countertops, we've never had them before! At our old house the counters are old formica that I think was original to the house (60s)!
This picture is just because I love kitchen sinks for some reason...
and the bathroom!
There is another tiny one in our bedroom, I haven't taken pictures in there yet because it was laundry mountain in there today!
Parker's room!
His 'labratory' where he spends hours creating inventions like a mobile ice cream machine to feed the world...
This crazy chair found it's home in his room. It is from the beloved coffee shop in our old town. It just closed down :( The shop was called "Bahma" and the kids now call this our "Obama" chair which cracks me up every time I hear it, especially since it is next to the star curtain!
The girls room!
I just love that the side walls were already pink! How cool is that???
The little kitchen where Georgia makes all kinds of things to feed her animals!
and now some of my favorites spots just because...
Georgia's favorite spot to play in the sunshine.
We have spent hours every morning since summer started reading in this spot, the kids with all of thier blankies and stuffed animals, so fun!
Ah, the dirt pit!
This was a Koi pond and the owners took it out. They were going to fill it up but decided to leave it for the kids!
They spend hours digging and having adventures back here.
The funniest thing is that the yard has lights that come on at dusk...
and since there was a Koi pond, there are lights still all around the dirt pit!
Each night the shovels and Tonka trucks are romantically lit up for our viewing pleasure!
More of the little back yard, it just feels whimsical back there!
The sweet path that leads from the backyard to the kitchen.
It is usually covered in patterns of sidewalk chalk, a spot for Ravenna's shell clreaning, Georgia's building of homes for her animals and Parker sitting dreamily watching the wind blow in the trees.
and one of the things that I love right now...
this bush drops down blossoms like snowflakes all day long...
It feels like living in a fairy tale!!!!!
We just feel so beyond blessed at how God has provided for us!
