Georgia and the mullet...

So, we're getting ready to head out on our first every backpacking trip with the kids. Earlier today I was madly packing and heard Ravenna srceaming, "Emergency!!!!!" So I ran to the room to find Georgia sitting in a pile of hair...LOTS of hair and sheepishly hodly some scissors! It was bound to happen sometime but the child was sporting one sweet mullet!
The picture does not totally do it justice...she cut chunks from everywhere :)

Bangs right up at the hairline in spots...

My sweet friend Angie came to the rescue, even while 41 weeks pregnant!!!

and here is the new do!!!! Short short bangs to even it out, a bob to level out the chunks!

She's pretty proud and somehow it seems to fit her!!!!

...because, somehow it DOES just seem to fit her!! Oh that sweet Georgia Mei ~ I think she's cute in a bob-due!

Georgia, Georgia, Georgia.
and yet she's still adorable even with the shorter "do."
And I love that last photo with her smirk-ah hahahaha! As a mom though ... oh my ... you had to be a bit sad to see her beautiful locks in a pile around her!! So glad you seem to be a mom who would take it in stride instead of freaking out ... *ahem* like I would imagine I would. (sigh)
Hair totally grows back ... and you can now try some new hair looks you may not have considered before.
And your friend Angela looks great at 41 wks pregnant! Love that skirt! Thank goodness for friends with hair rescuing skills. (And sweet Ravena holding Georgia's head still--love helpful big sisters!)

I think she looks absolutely precious! I remember when my oldest helped our daughter cut her hair shorter one Easter weekend - only in the back though. Took cutting 7" off to make it look good. She's had it short ever since. What a great friend Angela was to help you out. Did ya'll enjoy your camping trip?

I love her short hair! I wish my girls would let me cut theirs! So thankful that you have a plan for Georgia's heart and will be praying for all of you! We just made a prayer jar full of popsicle sticks with names on them and we draw three out each day to pray for. Your names are definitely in the jar!
