In surgery now...

Well little Miss Georgia is in surgery now. She did really well this morning so thank you for your prayers! She left us pretty groggy and ready to blow up that big green bubblegum flavored balloon...there just are not words to describe the feeling of knowing someone is operating on your baby's heart. I want to rush in and protect her somehow and yet she is completely in the hands of others but mainly in the hands of God.
While we were waiting to head to surgery my sweet little girl wrapped her arms around me and whispered, "I love you the most, forever and ever...." Oh how I love our little girl and cannot wait to see her again...
   Thanks for you continued prayers...

I'm Lerah Keagle's cousin by marriage. My son has had 3 open heart surgeris, 4 caths and a bad staph infection and is a gloriously happy 9 year old about to released to ride the bus home to me from school. I'm on my knees for you. I know the helplessness you feel but the sheer strength of the Lord is all that gets us through it. While we wouldn't have chosen this challenge, God chose us for some reason to glorify Him. So, all we can do is be obeident and trust that HE is in COMPLETE control and loves her more than we can imagine! Julie Andrews

Oh my goodness...you're killing me with Georgia Mei quotes!! Love and prayers continue to go out and up! Surgery IS a piece of God's provision, and since you are not able to do that yourself, the best place for her to be is in that operating room, without you. Of course you know that already...just felt the need to give you a "verbal" hug of some kind!! Can't wait to hear good news.
