Could you all please pray?

It is difficult to write this, but I believe without a doubt in the power of prayer and the goodness of God's plans for us. I had planned on writing something all happy and rosy to accompany the new blog rollout. Lena an adoptive mom from Premades with a Purpose did it for me...and she did a beautiful job! By tomorrow there will be a linkbar and pages for adoption fundraisers, ways to pray and encourage families and a spot for families to tell their adoption stories. Lena has a beautiful eye and you just have to check her stuff out (and help with her adoption at the same time)!
So, the prayer request (deep breath)...on Sunday night I found a lump in my breast. I spent much of yesterday in different doctors offices. On Monday morning I will go to a specialist to run a battery of tests as well as a biopsy.

I fully believe it when God says:

"For I know the plans I have for you," declares the LORD, "plans to prosper you and not to harm you, plans to give you hope and a future. "
Jeremiah 29:11

And I believe that there is mighty power in our prayers

"For where two or three come together in my name, there am I with them."
Matthew 18:20

So if you don't mind, would you pray that we could keep our eyes fixed on the Lord over these next couple of days as we wait for answers?

"So we fix our eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen. For what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal."
2 Corinthians 4:18

Thanks so much!!!!

Oh Shannon ~ I am SO praying for you. My heart is heavy for you and the tears welling. I feel like I'm reading news of my own sister going through this. Maybe because you are my "sister"...in Christ, and you are SO special to me. I'm so very sorry. But I'm glad that you are reaching out so that we can be lifting you up in prayer and taking authority over this situation. There is Victory over this in Jesus' name and I trust a big praise report is in your near future. Praying for you and your family in the days ahead!!

Love you,
~Tanya

Sweet friend, I hope that after a ton of prayer being sent to cover you that today will be a better day. We have been praying for you since you let me know yesterday and will continue to pray until the Lord gives you the most amazing news. He is faithful and loves you so deeply.

I think spending time with your family right now is just the medicine you need for your burdened heart.

Have a great weekend and get lots of love!

Dear Shannon~ Having just recently gone through the journey of medical tests, biopsies, and the worry of "what-ifs", you have my deepest compassion and hearfelt prayers. I am so glad you asked us all for prayer. There is great power in prayer as you know! Jesus is walking with you, guiding, leading, and at times carrying you. Jeremiah 29:11 is a wonderful verse to claim. My prayers are with you today~

Dear Lord Jesus
We come before you with your child, Shannon. She is in need of prayer for strength and peace as she goes on this journey for answers concerning the lump in her breast. I pray that the doctors will have the wisdom and compassion needed with her. I also pray,Lord, that IF there is something that needs to be taken care of the tests will reveal that. At the same time Lord I am praying for your faithful servant, complete healing right now in the name of Jesus.
We know that You walk with her, that you work all things out for good...Let her and her husband feel your presence today and in the days ahead.
In Jesus name
Amen

I will be praying. I know all too well how long the weekends are when you are waiting.

Hug your kids, play with them and pray. It really does make the wait a little easier.

Thank you for posting your prayer need in our comments. I try to keep up with everyone's blogs but I have been a little behind.

Praying for good news soon.
