I don't know how it happened but I watched with tears as my little baby that I first held not so very long ago in a hotel room in China....
became this poised, radiant, confident graduate...
who walked down the aisle (I know, if I think this time is bad...)
(smiling at her Daddy)
and stood up on that big ole' stage...
While her brother celebrated by praticing his superhero moves...
My breathe caught as she led the Pledge of Allegiance...and all that it meant to her history and story...
and the kindergarten class of 2014 hung out close by...
more superhero moves took place to keep us all safe...
and my sweet girl revelled in it all
(with her beloved Mrs. K who is an angel sent straight from the Lord)
As the verse that Ravenna chose all on her own to share up on stage says,
"The fear of the LORD is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and discipline."
Proverbs 1:7
I could not be more proud of you Ravenna-Roo...it is an absolute gift to be your Mama...

oh my! She is beautiful!!
OK I'm admittedly emotional this week, but that is a tearjerker. My oldest will be in 6th grade this year--over halfway to graduation. :(
