A Portrait of Healing...

He heals the brokenhearted

and binds up their wounds.
Psalm 147:3

Sometimes the road to healing is instantaneous and sometimes it is a journey...

We are so spoiled because we get to soak up the love of this little one along the way!

This hung in her hospital room...

Filling her full of kisses...

We are so blessed...

She is a treasure beyond words

a her giggle absolutely fills any room she is in!

even when she has goofy juice in her system :)

deep phone conversation with Grandpa...

Miss Georgia resting after her long battle (you can read about it here)

Popsicles just never lose their appeal

I cannot even begin to describe how good it felt to hold her again...

snuggles are healing in their own right

patting Daddy's back to let him know everything was ok...

wait for it...

crazy bedhead kisses :)

loaded into the wagon to go home

conked out before we even left the room!

What better medicine than big sister filling Mom & Dad's bed with stuffies to sleep with!

That radiant smile coming back!

Relaxing the next day...

Taking in some good literature!

The best things ever, no blue lips after the bath!

and so far no "funny-boom-booms" for this princess!

Thanks to everyone who prayed, it literally carried us through!

Wow, your post stirred alot of emotions for me. We are about to go through that whole surgery/hospital experience again next month for the 2nd time. It is so hard to watch them go through it and yet somehow ends up being a sweet time as well. Glad she is doing well!

What a gift. SO glad that things are better and better and continue to improve! YAY!
Praying that this continues, that there are no bad boom-booms and continued pink fingers, toes and lips!
