Just done

Today I am just done with waiting, done, done, done. It is evening here of another day anticipating and no news. We were even told by our Pediatrician that he has news for us from the Cardiologist and that he would call, but it never happened. We now have six sources that are "supposed" to have news for us at some point but it has been 8 weeks and no news. Tonight I just don't think I can take another day of wondering and waiting....anyone have some sort of a time warp bubble that I can climb in until there is news?
And today the Dragon Boat Festival started in China so all Chinese agencies are shut down for the rest of the week. Well dang, I think I need to go kick something!

I'm so sorry you are waiting for info from so many different people...the waiting just plain stinks. I'll tell you something my wise social worker told me many times (and I should have listened to her more :) - she said try to enjoy your husband and children while you wait because once you receive your new child things will change and you will never have this time, with your family like it is right now again. It was so hard, because I felt like part of our family was missing. But it was good advice!

I hope you get some news soon and I hope you have a great weekend.

Shannon, I was reading one of my daily blogs today and a friend of mine wrote this regarding some things that are going on in her own life and it reminded me of your journey with Georgia.

Exodus 14:13a (NLT)

"But Moses told the people, "Don't be afraid. Just stand still and watch the Lord rescue you today."

I know you already know this, but God's timing is perfect!

Enjoy your day knowing the Georgia is in the Lord's care and so are you!

Hang in there Shannon! I know you will! It's okay to be frustrated. God understands.

Hi Shannon,

Thanks for your comment on my blog. You are the second person who has thought we lived in the NW...I think it was from another post where I mentioned B'ham. We actually live in Alabama, and we travel to Birmingham for all of YouYou's heart appointments. Sorry for the confusion and sorry we don't live closer to you :)

Hope you are having a good day...

Erica
