Please, please, please pray for Georgia's heart...

I am not even sure how to write this or what to write. Georgia has been having some funky 'episodes' for the past few weeks. In July Georgia was given a clean bill of health and we were told that we would not have to see the Cardiologist for a year.
Well, these spells have started and she breaks out in a soaking wet sweat, gets super pale, has a hard time breathing and arches her back. The cardiologist is really concerned and is overnighting a special monitor that we will have to carry everywhere for the next month. Each time she has one of the episodes we will have to use the monitor on her and it will link to cardiologists who will monitor it 24 hours a day.
They are thinking she is having arrythmias which means that her heart beat is out of sync. This is tolerable for someone who has not had open heart surgery but very dangerous for a child who has had a surgery to repair Tetralogy of Fallot.
I don't know how to feel exactly. I am scared. I watch Georgia running around our yard and the idea that we may be facing something major just feels completely surreal. My heart just hurts and I want to ignore all I have learned today.
   Would you pray for us?
* For Georgia's heart, that this monitor would capture what is going on so we could fix it.
* For protection of her heart.
* For us to stand in trust and confidence of what God can do rather than in fear of what 'could be'
* For protection over Ravenna and Parker as we figure this out. I have not figured out how to explain that we will be taking Georgia's shirt off and attaching wires and monitors to her in public if she has a spell or how to explain any other part of it...

Trying hard to claim this verse that God spoke to me for Georgia far before she was even born:

"Trust in the LORD with all your heart
and lean not on your own understanding;
in all your ways acknowledge him,
and he will make your paths straight."
Proverbs 3:5-6

I love this girl so much that it hurts...

Praying again for you, Georgia, and family. Is her cardiologist up in Seattle or was Childrens' just where her surgery was?

Cedar,
Thank yo so much...yes her Cardiologist is in Seattle, actually at Children's. They are sending us this monitor so that we can start using it right away rather than treking up and trying to get an appointment...then, depending on what they find, they will tell us next steps, possibly surgery again :(

just this week I read the following

"Prayer can do whatever God can do. His resources are available to you. Twenty times in the New Testament it says, "Ask."

Lifting your family up in prayer and ASKING for healing without surgery!

Well, I'll continue praying and praying. We live in Tacoma. Don't know if that can help you, but if it can let me know. If you do end up in Seattle maybe we could bring you a meal at Childrens' or something.

I wore this monitor for a month. It comes with either a Fanny Pack or a Backpack, so it's not really obvious. When she has an attack, you will have a way to record...a portable EKG. No strips come out, but with mine I had to call mayo Clinic and hold the phone near the box. It is great technology that allows them to immediately see what is happening and also allows the Cardiologist to see every episode for comparison, etc. I will be Praying for ALL of your family!
