A Mountain Full of Joy!!!!

Today we packed up the car and headed out to the mountains to celebrate Georgia's good news!

While we got ready the kids tried on their hats and 'cuddled' on the couch...

or maybe 'smothered' is a better word!!!

Either way, it was full of love...

and mischief...

So much for that great picture of all three snuggled up...someday...

Our first stop was a 'surprise' not far from our house

This little one got filled with tons of thankful kisses today on the way

Do they look a little shocked???

That's because we are here!!!!

In the Ape caves which are over a mile of what Parker calls "Laba tubes"

It is pitch black in there and wet and rocky...

and they loved it!

Parker kept saying, "Look at the scratches (striations)...a UFO must have driven through here after the hot Laba!!!!"

and he proceeded to tell anyone we ran into who would listen that this was what happened!

An attempt at a family picture taken by a stranger in the complete dark!

Phew, back in the light and fueled up on Oreos!

We wandered at another spot and came upon this...

And who went down???

Yep. That would be the girls!

But only one was brave enough to go in the tiny lava tube that went about 100 feet underground...

Here we are welcoming her out on the other side!

Then we piled into the car to drive around and see what we could find...

and we came upon this...

A giant basin on Mt. St. Helen's where mud and lava flowed after the eruption

What better spot for a picninc and as the kids call it "Eesploring" around!

My guys...

Another family photo attempt!

Our miracle babe!

So crazy about this quirky guy

and my tender hearted girl who collected up all of the mushrooms she could find that were growing alone and built them a garden where they could be a family...

and these two....there just are not enough words for how crazy I am for them!!!!

and in the end...

Someone made it VERY clear that it was time to go home...

Blessings to all of you on this Saturday of celebrating!!!!

What fun pictures to see...thank you for sharing them with us! Seeing the mountain made me think of what God has been sharing with my husband and us this week. Mark 11:23 Where Jesus says with the faith of a mustard seed we can move mountains by saying to the mountain, move! There is a mountain in your life with Georgia's heart issues....So many have been praying, speaking victory, and giving thanks... This mountain will move and wash into the sea...
Keeping you in prayer and rejoicing with you.
