Circling back to thanks....

I only have a minute but feel like I have not written on here in forever. I read something this morning that talked about "Circling back to thanks." We are still walking through some unknowns (ok....in the same place as before, no new answers yet) and starting today get to step into the world of doctors and hospitals again (Parker asthma stuff, Georgia's sedated MRI of her brain is tomorrow). I have camped in fear, in worry and in exhaustion and keep feeling the Lord ask me to "circle back to thanks...and surrender" so this is the verse in my pocket today:
“The Lord is at hand; do not be anxious about anything but in everything by prayer and supplication with thanksgiving make your requests known to God.  And the peace of God, which surpasses all understanding, will guard your hearts and minds in Christ Jesus.”

Thanks for your prayers, especially for tomorrow. I know that it is a small procedure but Georgia does need to be sedated which is more dangerous for her than most because of her special heart. Praying that her brain is perfect in every way....also, we are still waiting for results from Ravenna's second round of blood tests. I know that the doctor asked the lab to repeat the same initial test (a 24 hour one) and if her clotting time was still prolonged then to run a bunch of other tests. It has been a week today so I am assuming the initial tests must have been abnormal.
   Thanks!!!
Shannon

Lifting Georgia, Parker, and Ravenna up in prayer along with mom and dad. I like the idea of circling back in thanks....it is like remembering all God has done for us already and reassuring ourselves and letting go of fears with a voice of praise. When you mentioned camping in a place of fear worry and exhaustion I thought of a verse that helps me with this..."I have pitched my tent in the land of hope." I often camp in a place of fear and worry and so understand what you are saying.....Wrapping you in prayer and giving thanks for your faith, your strength.
