Brave

We have some really amazing friends. They are rafting guides and offered to take us down the White Salmon river which is pretty fun and also has some class III and IV rapids.

As we started off Georgia was not so happy...

she actually started yelling "I do NOT like rafting!"

Doug scooped her up and held her on his lap.

Soon, she wanted down, then began to stand up and 'surf' through the rapids with her brother...

then she wanted to go to the front of the boat and sit right on the front even as we were going through big rapids (with her Daddy holding her of course)!

I asked her what helped her to change,

and her response amazed me.

She looked up at me with her big brown eyes and said,

"God helped me."

When I asked how she made her voice deep and calm and said,

" He whispered 'You be brave'"

"...and then I was Mama."

Oh how I wish to have faith like hers right now...
